My Vespa parts were here! The box got put where I did not see it. I can’t wait to work on this. The fine folks at Scooterwest.com even threw in some extra goodies! If you have a scooter, they are the best source for parts, and super nice if you ever talk to them.
They have always put one of these cool patches in the box.
This time, they also gave me a sweet drink cozy.
My annoying brother in law loves Vespas and is bitter about mine so this may have to go with me today.
Cool new handgrips. More chrome, yo.
I love the stickers they gave me. It’s like they know me....
I don’t know why, but I had to have this for $2.95
Brake fluid
Air filter.
Rear brake shoes.
Tie downs. I will be getting some sort of trailer for the Vespa and our April road trip too the Grand Canyon.
Screws.
Left hand brake lever. This looks so nice I feel like the right one should probably be replaced too.
Brake pads
Front brake rotor.
I would love to get to this project this weekend, but I have in-laws to survive and the Department of Labor to sue. Sigh. But I would like to stay married, and the work pays for the toys. So priorities must prevail. I hope you are all doing well this morning.

Lots of cool stuff there. Always great when you find a really good parts place

I’m feeling that Piaggio plate. That’s cool. You need to get some more headlights and mirrors.

Congrats! Man, getting boxes of parts showing up is such an awesome feeling. I won’t lie, I’m not a good mechanic, but I’m good at unbolting broken stuff and bolting new stuff back on! Thankfully with the Cougar, so much stuff is just old and broken and needs to be replaced anyway! No diagnosing needed!

good job there bud.
You are gonna have a brand new Vespa after this.
Bet the last set of pads used up quickly after seeing that rotor.
I just finished plowing the yard and removing 2 feet of snow from the top of my solarium and the top of my cargo trailer.
So sunny right now i’m letting the snow melt before it goes back in the garage
